Slimming World Chicken Korma
The slimming world chicken korma is one of our favourite slimming world meals which is very simple and easy to make with few ingredients:
Ingredients:
Frylight or a low calorie sunflower spray
1 onion
2 garlic cloves
2 large chicken breasts
500g passata
4 tbsp tomato purée
400ml chicken stock
2 tbsp korma curry powder
frozen carrots
100g fat free natural yoghurt
Recipe:
1. Add the Frylight or alternate spray to a large frying pan or wok. Add the onions and garlic to the pan and fry for 5 minutes or until soft.
2. Add the chicken to the pan and stir fry for a further 5 minutes or until the chicken has browned. Half way add the frozen carrots to allow them to start to soften.
3. Add the korma powder, the chicken stock, tomato purée and passata, stir and bring to the boil. Cover the pan and lower down to a simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring every few minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
4. Remove from heat and add the yoghurt, stirring in well. Then serve with rice. We also served our chicken korma with a salad, having our third of plate of super free food
